Charging Options
The Nissan Leaf comes with a Type 2 to Type 2 charging cable to charge from any Type 2 socket charging station. There is also an add-on option for a portable charging cable that allows users to charge from any domestic power outlet. While this is great in a pinch, a full charge can take up to 18 hours using this method. JET Charge recommends installing a dedicated home charging station for fast and convenient charging in the long term.
The Schneider EVlink Smart Wallbox is a perfect charging station for charging the Nissan Leaf at home. It offers up to 6.6 kW AC charging for the 2nd gen Nissan Leaf, delivering a full charge in only 6 hours. Plug in overnight and by morning your Leaf will be ready for action.
