Charging Options
The Nissan Leaf is fitted with a Type 1 port meaning you can charge at any Type 1 charging stations. There is also an add-on option for a portable charging cable that allows users to charge from any domestic power outlet. While this is great in a pinch, this method of charging is much slower than a Level 2 charging station.
JET Charge recommends installing a dedicated home charging station for fast and convenient charging in the long term.
Due to the Type 1 charging port on the Leaf to charge at a Type 2 socket charging station you will need to be equipped with a Type 2-to-1 lead. If you’d like to know more about your charging options for the Nissan Leaf please contact the JET Charge team.
